Set amidst a lush tropical organic plantation of cocoa, rubber and spice, Planter's Retreat is a treasure trove for nature lovers, adventure seekers or for those looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. The Retreat is owned by a traditional Syrian Christian family whose ancestors moved into the area centuries ago. Needless to say, guests will get the opportunity to experience the distinctive Syrian Catholic culture, traditions and cuisine. Built in a traditional style, the bungalows long verandas, intricate wood work and polished floors manage to capture the essence of its first inhabitants. There are three spacious bedrooms which are adequately furnished with period furniture. Being an organic plantation, the flora, fauna and birds here are a treat for nature lovers. |
